Neighbourhood Planning – Your Priorities
Links and documents relating to the Neighbourhood Planning Pilot are provided below:
This questionnaire is for everyone who lives, works or carries out business in the Harehills Neighbourhood Area. Filling it in will mean you are having your say about Harehills and how you would like to see it develop and change in future.
It is now LIVE and the deadline for responses is Friday 1st September 2023, 5pm.
The questionnaire is also available in English and a few other languages in Word / Google docs and PDF formats – these can be filled in and returned either electronically to firstname.lastname@example.org or by printing and returning to The Compton Centre Community Hub Library. Please contact Joanne Harrison, Community Engagement Officer (email@example.com or 0113 378 3846) if you would like an alternative format such as a language that isn’t already on the website or an easy-read / visual version.
Paper copies of a questionnaires are available at The Compton Centre Community Hub Library.
In future, we plan to establish an action group of members who will collate details of planning applications that have been submitted to Leeds City Council (see https://publicaccess.leeds.gov.uk/online-applications/). These might include minor modifications to houses, extensions, the use of premises for non-residential purposes and licensing, as well as new developments and changes to highways / infrastructure. Public consultation is a really important part of neighbourhood planning and you, as individuals and a Forum, have the opportunity to provide feedback on the type of changes happening in the Harehills Neighbourhood Area. Comments of support or objection can be provided directly to Leeds City Council.
